Palestine UMC in Ball, LA, is a wonderful community of faith located just north of Alexandria. It is a small church with a big heart! We were there to celebrate Heritage Week with them, remembering 78 years of ministry in this community. It’s good to remember the roots from which we spring. The knowledge of God’s faithfulness on the path we’ve walked gives us confidence as we face the future. We were delighted to get to know Rev. Jerry Crise and his wife, Sue. They are a wonderful couple with a heart for ministry.
We had the joy of traveling this time with on of our 17 grandchildren. Elijah was an enthusiastic participant in the covered dish meals and BibleQuest. He even helped me unload the motorhome.
We had great participation and good crowds each night. There was a great spirit and enthusiastic worship. The BibleQuest kids sat on the front row each night and enjoyed the stories.
Hearts were receptive and many found an opportunity to cry out to God.
The kids loved BibleQuest. We even had a first grader (6 years old) memorize over 30 verses!
It was a time of fellowship and renewal that was a blessing and encouragement. Join me in praying for this church as they continue to seek Him.
