FUMC Canyon is a busy small college town just south of Amarillo, TX, in the panhandle. Rev. Rick Enns is doing an amazing job in this community and it shows in the way this church is reaching out in ministry. After setting up on Saturday, he showed us a video of a recent baptism of a college student. It was incredibly moving. I knew we were about to share in some great days of renewal together. The services were well attended and the spirt of worship was alive! This church loves to worship. They do both contemporary and traditional worship well. The sanctuary is well designed so that the transition is made each Sunday from the traditional choir to a full worship band. What a great space! The Spirit of God was active in drawing hearts to Himself. It never ceases to amaze me how God can use these simple stories to open hearts to receive His love. 
BibleQuest was well received by the kids. Good attendance and enthusiastic participation. It is such a blessing to see kids get excited about the Bible! This church has done a good job of discipling the boys and girls.

We loved our time in Canyon! Pray that hearts will continue to remain open to His Spirit and that the ministries and outreach on this church will bring many to faith.
