Woodcrest UMC in Lumberton, TX is a happenin’ place! Rev. Gary Masterson is a long time friend. I led a series of revival services for him when he and I were both young. The friendship has remained strong across the years. He was a gifted art teacher who was called into ministry and is one of the most gentle men I’ve ever known. I knew we were in for a great time when we pulled into the church parking lot and were met by a cheering crowd! How much fun is that! 
What wonderful worship we shared. These folks love Jesus and enjoy praising Him. The presence of His Spirit was so evident as we praised Him together and as they responded to His call to commitment. 
These kids love God’s Word. They have really been given a strong foundation through the Children’s ministry of this church. They were so enthusiastic as they sang the songs and memorized His Word. 
Here are the excited metal winners! We had one of the BibleQuest kids memorize over a hundred verses! Gotta love it!
