As I write this, Felicia and I are embarking on a month-long ministry trip. We are in Nashville for the United Methodist Congress on Evangelism and the National Association of United Methodist Evangelists. I had the privilege of ministering in the Wednesday night session. We are enjoying connecting with friends from all across the nation. The speakers at this conference have been some of the best I’ve ever heard.

We leave tomorrow for a revival in Owensboro, KY. Four United Methodist churches have joined forces to plan and prepare for this event. We met with one of the pastors and his wife here in Nashville and they are very hopeful for a true move of God in their community. We are praying for that to happen.

From Kentucky, we are going to Bainbridge, GA and Niceville, FL, on Sunday, January 18. We will be sharing in music and storytelling in these two churches. The next week, we are going to be in revival in Jacksonville, FL, at Mandarin UMC. This is a strong church pastored by Rev. David Brazelton. I’ve known David for years and look forward to working with him and his staff.

Thanks so much for your prayer support as we travel. We are excited to be “on the road again” as we step into a new year.

We will have some time in February to catch our breath and do some writing. Our scheduled ministry in California canceled because of the economy. The rest of the year looks good and we are booking new meetings in 2010 and 2011. Please, pray for us as we seek to follow Him.

Until all know Him,

Wesley

  1. Wesley, my Blood Brother in Christ,

It’s been some time since we have had an opportunity to fellowship and I believe I need to get on the stick & look you up when you return to Hurst.

Please know that I think of you often, knowing full well that Father has you craddled in His loving hands. You are a blessing, my Brother…

    Go with God,

    GS
