The Master’s storyteller in Hereford, TX

IMG_2313

Hereford, TX, the beef capital of the world.  The town without a tooth ache (I’m not kidding).  The feedlots where millions of cattle are fed each year, smells like money (or so I’m told).  The home town of Ron Ely, who played Tarzan on TV when I was a child.  I’ve been through Hereford many times over the years of our ministry, but this was my first visit as the Master’s storyteller.  Kevin Bushart has been a friend of mine on facebook, but we’ve never worked together until now.  What a delight to get to know him and his family.  By the end of the week, we felt like we had known one another for years!  Felicia and I were deeply blessed by our time here.

We had wonderful crowds each night to worship and hear the stories.  Lots of children and youth were in each service!  Felicia and I were so pleased with the response.

Cowboy Dan was a big hit among the real cowboys in Hereford.  They really had fun listening to him.

The front pew was full of youth each night.  They really got into the stories!  It’s fun to see youth inviting their friends to come to church on a week night!

There was a great prayer response each night.  God’s Spirit was moving in Hereford!

We had a great time with the boys and girls in BibleQuest.  They learned a lot and had fun doing it!

Here are our gold medal winners for Hereford with Rev. Kevin Bushart and the children’s director, Amanda Brookhart!  One of these girls pictured above, memorized over a hundred verses!  A-MA-ZING!!!

Please join me in praying that God will continue the work of renewal he started this week in Hereford.  Keep the flame burning, Lord!!

  1. Hello.

How do I get in touch with Cowboy Dan? My Company is holding an event in Irving Texas the first week in September and we are looking to hire a cowboy story teller.

    Thank you.
